MECHANICAL BINDING COVERS

Mechanical binding, though an effective binding style, often does not provide the strength necessary to withstand rough treatment. Because mechanical binding is so often used in cookbooks and manuals - products for environments where rough treatment is a way of life - they often need added protection. For books that last, consider adding strength and durability to your mechanical binding work with hardcover cases that conceal and protect the binding elements.

Using endsheets, which are made from sturdy paper stocks placed as the first and last pages of the book block, a protective turned-edge cover is placed over the front, back, and spine of the product, protecting the binding and pages with an additional shield.
